Every morning, Kelly -Anne makes her way to the courthouse to watch the trial against a multiple child murder suspect. She meets another regular visitor and the two young women become friends. But as the details of the trial get more and more unbearable, things take a strange turn…

This highly stylish psychological thriller is described as anti-serial killer movie, as the killer is put in the background. The main theme is the fascination with evil by the (anti)heroine, brilliantly portrayed by Juliette Gariépy. Writer/director Pascal Plante takes a deliberate pace to bring the viewer into dark and torturous places, where there are no easy answers.
