Budding art restorer Lisa travels to a small Italian village. Once there, she has two weeks to bring a medieval painting back to its former glory. But soon, she starts to suspect that there is a horrible secret behind the painting, a secret that may endanger her life.
New film by Italian writer-director Federico Zampaglione is a blood-soaked homage to classic Italian splatter movies, as were made by Fulci, D’Amato and Lenzi. The film also features an appearance by cult icon of these movies, Giovanni Lombardo Radice, while the main cast boasts Lauren LaVera (Terrifier 2), Claudia Gerini (John Wick 2) and Melanie Gaydos (All the Gods in the Sky).
